RC Heli - Indoor Racing App Reviews

... Realism is poor, ok. But with the external view it could be a great tool to learn how to fly a real rc model: basics could be run over in no time! The app just need the 4th channel !!!!

The controls are ALL WRONG! Anyone whos EVER flown real rc heli will be as pissed as I am. I though great I can practice flying, WRONG! If the controls are fixed this could be one of the best apps for the iPhone. If not Ill stick to the REAL thing. 1 star, but if the controls are fixed 5 stars for sure.

Pretty good but there need to be an option to set the sticks up like a real heli. If you included that youd have a 5 star from me. Other then that its totally worth a buck.

just need to switch control with the in game menu by pressing the pause button and your all good to go! super nice game!

Long review warning!!! Let me just say in short that this is a good game, and totally worth your 99 cent if RC heli or flight games is your cup of tea. But as of now there are some more work needed to make this game truly great. First of all just about everyone reviewed this app didnt like the dumbed down control, it just dont feel right for anyone who flys a RC. I am sure that the developers are fully aware of that and will update it to match the real life controlers soon. Secondly I found during any races, when you are in the fixed behind heli view if you are going from a lower checkpoint to a higher one, you really cant see the coin untill it is right in front of you. (arrows didnt help much) This is annoying and so maybe another pan free view point should be added, or just to enable paning in the current behind view. Or better yet have a option to change the angle of view using tilt. And thirdly Im not really sure what is up with the ATC tower right beside the helipad. Im guessing its just for the looks, but it really should be moved future away from the pad or just not be there at all. Because it really is somewhat of a obstacle and becomes annoying when landing. Lastly there is a minor bug that I found and needs to be fixed. When landing even after the power is cut off. If you had kept your hand on the right stick, in a off center x axies poisition, the heli will turn, spin and tilt, and act as if its falling off a table edge. When the stick is pushed all the way in one dirction The spining wont stop until engine is powered up again. But if you just let go of the right stick befor landing it wont happen. So I think some sort of a x axies input shut off needs to be inplace when heli is touching the ground with the engine off. P.S: more diffent type or size heli would be great, and maybe a combat mp mode just like those RC light shooting helis ;)

Ethervision, you dont have to use controls that look like the real thing. Look at the SandStorm app that uses large parts of the screen for navigation. It is almost impossible to control the Helicopter. Fix up the controls and this could be a great app, but right now its aweful.

Ok, here it goes, it’s not a bad start, but as an RC pilot who fly both gas and electric helicopters here’s whats missing. One, the heli vibrates like the blades are way out of balance. Fix this, smother operation would greatly enhance the experience. Two, make it a four channel radio, and add collective pitch, thus making it more realistic. Three, it must be able to collide with objects. Do these things and I would gladly pay many times more they what it is selling for now.

Controls are a little sketchy but still an alright game... Would be awsome if you could pick different helicopters or fly outside

I love it. Worth the dollar. Turning is a little on the sensitive side. Heli is a bit wobbly at times and it would be cool if it could slide from side to side to. But its a great game

I always want to play a helicopter simulator, but I havent found any good games other this great app. I really would like to fly a blackhawk and fly outside, because x plane helicopter was nearly impossible to control

Its not bad, pretty easy to control I sugest getting lite first then If u like it get full there is two opitions ...u like it or u dont nuff said. But it needs more rooms in the house then five star

私はiPod Touch第1世代(32G)ですが、ちゃんとプレイできています。 面白いですが、左右のコントロールが敏感すぎて操作しにくいです。あと、accelerometerよりスティックの方が操作しやすいです。

機体の挙動はリアルではありませんが、コストパフォーマンスは良いと思います。 プロポの設定にMODE1とMODE2しかないので、MODE3とMODE4が加わると嬉しいです。
